To whom it may concern - I am writing regarding the proposed price increases for domains including .com domains. I as an individual, and many small businesses, rely on the web for work, and increasing the cost of domains makes the web increasingly inaccessible to everyone. The goal of the web is to democratize knowledge and information, and increasing barriers to that democratization is fundamentally against the nature of the web. I hope you will reconsider Proposed Amendment 3 to the .COM Registry Agreement. I do not think this amendment should pass. Thank you very much, Nisha Masharani

I object to this proposed price increase for .com. The proposal is unfair and unreasonable, especially for those of us who are using domains for non-profit purposes and live in third-world countries. Such price increases for basic internet use leads to unequal opportunities for people around the world and is a form of discrimination. Sent from Mail for Windows 10

I read about the increasing prices of .com domains.... I hope you are actually considering consumer feedback and stop this initiative... I'm not happy with ICANN making this changes not considering users around the globe.. This will limit the adquisición of domains for people I different countries where 10 USD represents a weekly salary.

I am registrant of several .com domain names. Verisign just wants to jack prices for no benefit other than their own. The current rate of $7.85 is fine and does not need to be changed. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest. Regards, Robert Barbieri

I'm writing to voice my opinion regarding .com agreement changes. Internet access is now a fundamental human right: it's impossible to function economically, socially, governmentally, and vocationally in society without it. For this reason, any plans to increase prices to domains should be minimized, as costs funnel down and will always impact the most vulnerable people the most. It will also contribute to disruption in the quality and availability of online services. You're in a position to be a shepherd of a fundamental societal tool, so please do not take advantage of this for your own financial gain.
