Hello, I feel, increasing prices while making such agreements with companies like verisign is not a step in the right direction. We already have a lot of issues regarding domain purchases, domain registrars are already cheating customers by reserving commonly used words in almost all TLDs, to resale at a higher price. As an organisation, you should focus on how to stop these things, but this step further encourages companies to be profit driven than service driven. Finances are an important part for any non-profit or profit making organizations, i understand being an owner of one, but these steps are not an ethical way to move forward. Let the Domain registrations be managed by people who truly love and work for betterment of internet and not just to make profits.

I am a registrant of a .com domain name. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. Hello, The current move looks scummy and ICANN should have consulted with the community. Please do not just go ahead and approve these changes. It will hurt a lot of users as .com is the most popular and sought out domain extensions. Thanks

Hi, I am a registrant of many .com domain names for personal and business use. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. There is no reason to having an ever increasing domain name price that is way greater then inflation. Please help stop these unjustifiable price increases, & support the average hard working customer! Thanks, Masood Ahmad
