These dot COM (TLD) changes will have a significant impact on the Internet for years to come, and only ICANN and Verisign have participated in this decision. I'm writing to respectfully request you all to reconsider your proposed changes to the internet "TLDs." If nothing else, please don't come to any conclusions until you're able to get a great deal more input. Your patience and cooperation are much appreciated concerning this matter. Don H. Michaelis, Vice President, representing ACN.ONE , and (atlanticcablenetwork.com ), is opposed to the proposed dealing between ICANN and Verisign coming up after February 14th, 2020. Access & Rights to utilize the internet for people all over the world is limited as costs increase. REALLY, to what end are costs being increased to purchase domains? I have not been made aware of a reason of either logic or global community consideration.

This is wrong ICANN, you have made changes in secret, without consulting or incorporating feedback from the ICANN community or Internet users. You oversee domain names and the changes to the contract with Verisign, Inc. should not increase .COM top-level-domain. These increases will hurt me and all internet users. To Whom It May Concern: I am a registrant of several .com domain names. I stand with others against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. The current rate of $7.85 is more than justified. Please do not be cave or be soley directed by groups like Verisign. I am user of 2 .com domains and I object to this amendment. ICANN Is supposed to work in the public interest and this amendment, even if it were to be necessary for reasons I am not aware of, has been undertaken in a manner that I object to. It is secretive and takes every opportunity to obstruct comment. It also makes the changes to the fees deeply obscured. If you are at all serious about public feedback you should not proceed with making these changes Mark Hersey Technical Director

The proposed increase of the .com prices would greatly impact not only me personally, but the business I have started providing hosting for people. We have tried to keep prices manageable, but when price increases are allowed to flow unchecked, it hurts everyone.
