Hello, I am he manager of multiple domains. This increase seems to be more than might possibly be needed. Since it was requested there has not been any indication given for the use of the increased funds this concerns me greatly. At the very least the entity collecting the funds should provide some kind of indication regarding the anticipated need for more funds, where the funds would go, and why the increases are needed. Simply adding to the bottom line with no indication that a specific need is there or where the additional funding will go is not acceptable to me. I am a registrant for a .com site and an .org site. I question both the process of consideration and the intent of increasing .com registry pricing. First, the process is too closed - not transparent.Second, why is an increase necessary? For what use are funds needed? Please we are against the increase in the price of .COM domain, it makes things difficult for the regular people and affect the ease access to .com domains by young entrepreneurs, starving the online community and internet users. We believe the internet should be easily accessible by all and at very affordable prices.

Hello, As a .COM owner and Internet user, I oppose Amendment 3 as: 1. The cost increase is substantial 2. Competition in the market place will drastically reduce as smaller .COM registrars will be unable to compete against a single larger competitor 3. The cost increase will affect small and medium businesses in both the developing and developed world 4. The agreement is being made by parties without input from the larger Internet community, who are the largest users and benefactors of the Internet Thank you for the opportunity to voice our concerns and comments. I oppose this decision as it seems to only benefit people who already have a lot of money. You already got rid of the price cap on .org domains. The internet is supposed to be a place of diversity and freedom. Stop trying to put a price tag on it.
