That's absolutely unacceptable, it seems there are some individual which try to game the system to fill their pockets. What's about the sale of org? the whole thing stinks to the sky and need checked urgently! That can't be right.

Decisions supporting such a large set of domain names across the web should never be made without proper community involvement and support. I own multiple .com domain names for family-oriented (not business or profit-based) websites and will be greatly impacted by a continual cost increase over the next decade. Please take a moment and consider the impact this could have on the internet as a whole - the small people.

I'm writing to express concern about: 1. the closed door nature of the changes to .COM domain pricing, 2. lack of transparency and planning on how the nonprofit intends to spend the proposed income increase, 3. adjustments of special privilege for VeriSign to operate as a registrar which does not appear to be a fair and equitable decision, and 4. the continued act of disregarding feedback from the internet community. ICANN is in the position to greatly affect the fairness and equality of the internet community, and we users depend on morally just and wise decisions. I urge you to reconsider your proposed January amendment. am a registrant of many .com domain name over last 20 years, all for mostly personal use. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest.

Good day. The information about the changes on your work plan is understandable, however ignore the participation of the people to make decisions are against the open data initiatives allowing unscrupulous people to propose and approve things that probably are ethically wrong. Also the continuous increase in the cost of the domains could limit the possible acquisition of those, limiting the opportunity to create new websites to bring information to the people. I think you could launch an call for proposals in order to create a more fair and valid proposal to cover all points you have been tried and include missing points of view.
