Namecheap sent us an email saying that there was some negotiation done with Verizon that could potentially raise prices for them and thus us. If this is the case, please don't do anything that could result in price increases for final users. Thank you. Ricardo Toledo

Hi ICANN, This is shocking news that you wish to start the process to make .COM domains inaccessible. How could you make such a decision without consulting more people affected by such a decision? I highly disagree with your quick methods to pass something that affects So many and hope you take some time to hear from the many people affected by making the most popular domain extension unaffordable for the average Joe.

I really don't like the fact that the price increase is being made without asking the consumers. You do know that without consumers you don't have a business! The almighty dollar is a two edge sword it cuts both ways! You raise your prices to much you actually loose business! If it's not broken why try to fix it?

To whom it may concern, I am opposed to amendment 3 to the .COM registry. The price increases are unwarranted, unjust, unfair, and undesirable from all points of view other than Verisign's or ICANN's. Corporate interests are not the domain name system's best interests. Don't be greedy and further reduce the potential of the middle class. Price increases for .com are not acceptable. The internet is one of the few things that can be enjoyed by all socioeconomic groups. Let's keep it that way. Thank you Hal Dougherty
