I just want to let you know that I oppose your recent changes to your .COM contract with Verisign. Thanks to your greed and graft, domains are already way more expensive than they need to be. Stop trying to squeeze the consumer more! I know that ICAAN hardly cares who I am or what I think, but if someone reads this I want you to know that I will oppose *anything* that increases your profits, and I'll support *any* attempt to replace ICAAN with an institution that is run, not-for-profit, in the people's interest. If you guys want more money, try innovating something.

am a registrant of a .com domain name. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest.

This seems like a very dumb way to make more money. This might represent a small expenditure to most people in the first world, but this could represent something to emerging ideas in other places in the world. These people shouldn't have to be filtered by that.

This is not fair for the people who are doing start ups as well. This decision is unfair and is not warranted. Please do not increase the prices for .COM domains.
