Good afternoon, I’m writing to voice my concern over the proposed .COM price increases, an issue I believe will deeply impact people’s freedom on the internet. Small business owners are already struggling to maintain profitability and this will place an additional burden on them. Content creators, educators, activists, and other categories of vulnerable or underepresented people will have yet another barrier to fight when wanting to start a positive, constructive project. To maintain a profitable, booming internet, we need to lower the barriers to access, not build them higher. Please take all these voices into account.
