Dear ICANN - I have four concerns with the Verisign contract changes. 1) The decisions were made in private, behind closed doors, without incorporating any feedback from its customers or the Internet community as a whole. 2) The price increases are too high, too fast, and have no cap. 3) There's no accountability for the Verisign $20 million funding to support ICANN. The funds usage should be clearly spelled out. 4) Verisign should not be allowed to act as a registrar. The company in charge of setting prices shouldn't also be allowed to compete directly with their client domain registrars. sincerely, steve novy -- Stephen Novy 520-471-8240 senovy@gmail.com
