Dear ICANN, I am writing to vehemently oppose the proposed changes you want to make to the .COM Registry Agreement, as these are unfair and will have a lot of negative knock-on effects for businesses and non-profit organisations. For example, we work with many start-ups where big budgets for their web presence are not available and any major price increases will for sure affect whether they take a website or just concentrate on a social media presence, which more and more small businesses are already doing. The proposed increases will also directly affect our business and many others in the advertising & marketing agency sector from a negative profit point of view. I respectfully request that you reconsider your decision for these large increases and just keep them in line with inflation, which still helps with your own profit situation while also ensuring the registration of new domains will continue.
