To Whom It May Concern: I oppose proposed amendment 3 to the .COM Registry Agreement. Verisign, a public company, should not have the ability to unilaterally raise prices on .COM registration, especially if they stand to profit from those price increases. .COM, like the rest of the TLDs, should be operated and managed as a public good, not as a means to squeeze money out of people and organizations who rely on the internet, so that a private company can increase their profits and share price.
