I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. The .COM TLD is used by many social groups, grassroots organizations, and nonprofits as well as by people and entities of all types. The internet is most successful the more people that are on it, and increases prices by the most common TLD is not going to support more people and communities joining it. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest. This rate increase is in direct conflict with that purpose.
