I strongly object to the amendment for .com domains: 1. Price Increases - If Verisign cannot do it at the present price, get a company who will. There are many who will eagerly take over from Verisign. 2. Verisign cannot operate as a domain registrar from it's present position without gaining an unfair advantage. Give the responsibility over another company if Verisign is so keen to become a registrar. 3. It is not a donation of $20 Million to ICANN when Verisign gains unfair privileges over other registrars, it is bribery. Is ICANN really prepared to stoop this low? It is amazing to see how "respected" people can expose their criminal minds without even considering the fact that people are not stupid and see exactly what is going on.
