I have registered several domains, which I use for personal emails and business purposes. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified, as other companies would almost certainly be bidding at a lower price for the rights to maintain the .com registry if permitted to do so. Giving one company a monopoly is bad enough, but potentially authorizing increases far in excess of inflation or their costs is truly offensive. You represent the public's interest. Please do your job. Taking a little bit more from a lot of people and giving it all to a company that has a monopoly just doesn't make sense. Michael Deutsch Wellington, Florida, United States
