Dear Sirs, As a provider, Verisign has a monopoly over the attribution of the .COM domains. The agreement between ICANN and Verisign wasn't made openly and does not guarantee the freedom of use and the competitivity of the Internet for all users. The price of a domain matters when setting up a website and many small business owners or entrepreneurs who wish to set up an online business or presence, or the user who wants to create a new website to display or promote whatever he wishes to, will be prevented to do so if this agreement goes on. So, as an user of website domains, I ask you to not make that deal with Verisign and leave things as they are because it will ultimately impact very negatively the internet, its use and its freedom. Thank you for your time, Frederico Mesquita
