As a registrant of a .com name, I am opposed to the proposed price increase of .com domains. Only Verisign wants these increases, yet the current $7.85 rate is more than sufficient. And why should Verisign, which merely manages the .com registry, decide the price? I respectfully ask that ICANN consider the public interest as its main priority in governing the system for domain names. --Peter Latner Minneapolis, MN 612-751-4046
