I'm an IT Solutionist which provides services to small and medium sized businesses. I handle all aspects of my customers IT needs including domain name registrations. My customers and I are against any price increases for domain registrations considering the price will not benefit those who need it the most. With the massive amount of .com registrations at the current pricing, is that not enough? Even the slightest increase in .com pricing multiplied by the hundreds of millions of active .com domain registrations results in a gross increase of income. The cost of hosting domain registrations is miniscule compared to the income that it generates. It's disgusting. Keep it fair!
