Verisign already has too much control and influence for a for-profit organization to have in their space. The lack of transparency allows for quite damning statements like this one: https://www.namecheap.com/blog/icann-allows-com-price-increases-gets-more-mo... ICANN must increase the transparency of these all of its processes. Please publish recordings or at least minutes of meetings.
