[Comments-com-amendment-3-03jan20] Raising of .com registration fees

Hello, I wish to voice my objections to the raising of registration fees paid to Verisign for .com domain registrations.  The 7% per year for 4 year fee increases are well above the rate of inflation and does not reflect the costs associated with running a domain registration business.  It is ICANN's job to protect domain registrants from abuses of Verisign's monopoly position.  In this instance it appears that ICANN is instead an enabler of Verisigns abuses.  This is extremely unfortunate and not in keeping with expectations.
