I have been a domain name registrant since the mid 1990's. And during in this time, aside from originally no fee, I've seen the cost for most of not all yearly registration drop. This has allowed me not only keep "sentimental" names but register additional names I would not have considered. With this said I venimently oppose the proposed price increase. In fact it is in my opinion that caps should be put in place. I base this opinion on the fact that administrative overhead does not warrant price increase. This has the appearance of a money grab. I would like for ICANN to rethink those position on the proposed increase.
