Hello, Raising dot com costs to registrars hurts universal access to these critical domains. The value of TLDs is their ability to be purchased by all types of consumers, regardless of income level. The ability for fees to grow in 8 out of 10 years pushes domains farther away from average consumers, and make the web a less friendly place. If growing revenue from registrars is necessary, then transparency in this process is key.
