Removing the price cap on domains would be morally reprehensible. Owners of small websites, many of which are not even monetized, could be forced off the internet completely. Hi ICANN, Millions of youth around the globe have dreams, hopes, and ideas they are wishing to achieve, And in this modern world its all tied up to the internet, whether its an app, a website, or a game. Furthermore, making hard on those youth to buy new domain names due to the high price will kill equality and make it in the hand of big corporations. Therefore, I state clearly, I'm against removing the price cap on any of the domains.

I am requesting that the cap which limits the annual increase on the cost of .info domains remain in effect. Removing it would very likely create unbearable financial strain on individuals and small organizations, which are the primary registrants of .info domains. Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android

As the owner of many domain names, I do not want to see price-caps removed and believe price increases would be unfair. Further, legacy gTLDs are fundamentally different and registrants of legacy TLDs are entitled to price stability and predictability, and should not be subject to price increases with no maximums. Unlike new gTLDs, registrants of legacy TLDs registered their names and made their online presence on legacy TLDs on the basis that price caps would continue to exist. Removing the price caps will cause an speculative increase that cannot be predicted. One year i can pay 15, and the next year 150. I am writing to oppose the proposed removal of fee caps affecting .org gTLD domains. I share the view, submitted by many other internet users, that the .org gTLD is in essence a public trust and distinct from other more directly for-profit gTLDs. The fee cap removal would negatively affect not-for-profit and non-profit organizations disproportionately while delivering no tangible increase in service or other benefit — a profit grab, pure and simple.

Hi, As a owner of some .info domains, I am t be significantly impacted by the possible change in pricing/renewal rates for those domains with your changes. Please do not change this clause. The domain registrars have a great job and there's no justification for us, the intended users of .info domains, to have any major changes there. So there's no pou point in increasing prices. As small business it is hard enough to keep a presents on the internet and the price of a domain should be of minimal concern as it has been. To whom it may concern. The proposed removal of price caps on .info top level domains is going to have a devastating effect on many small business who can not compete with fortune 500 companies. I own a small business and although I have no direct employees, I do retain a cadre of professional support in different disciplines. Managing cost and providing the best service I can for my clients has kept me in business for several years. If caps are removed from .info top level domains small internet based business like mine will lose their competitive edge, and may even cause many such small business to close their doors. Many of these business are owned by individuals who because of physical handicaps and other limitations cannot find gainful employment. Their online business provides a means to an income otherwise unobtainable. Removal of price caps on .info top level domains will force many self-employee individuals to go out of business.
