Hello ICANN, A very small in fact tiny increase by you will put the future of Entrepreneurs in danger, how? Nowadays anyone can very easily with the least investment put his mark or product/idea on the Internet. Increasing prices will make it difficult for the small entrepreneurs, those who are already under tons of student loans or those from backward countritand economies where dollar is very expensive. Instead please reconsider the existing prices and bring them down. Thanks Engineer Mansoor Habib

If price increases may help me. I can then drop all domains and no one bother to register those dropped domains to waste lot of money. Also I will then promote domains which has price cap or low price like cctld etc. because no one wants ugly shock of price increase in future by using those .org .info domains. Thanks.

I find the section for pricing of dot org domain names of the new agreement deeply disturbing. Without a cap limiter i am certain greed will reign and the prices will increase substantially to a point that only the few select rich will be able to afford them forcing millions of people to forfeit their property including myself. There is no justification on why this would even be necessary as the ongoing costs for maintaining a simple domain name tied to a numerical address is negligible. As i said, This can only be explained by corrupt power and greed by those wanting to control the internet for their own tyrannical reasons.

As the editor-in-chief of an all volunteer educational online journal, our service to the world depends on leveraging commonsense non-profit and public resources. The proposed unrestrained price increases on us, one of the millions of .org registrants who are not-for-profits or non-profits would be unfair. Common sense seems to be out of order if another "non-profit", the Internet Society, can willfully and without restraint take from others with .org registrants receiving no benefit in return. ICANN should not allow one non-profit nearly unlimited access to the funds of other non-profits. ICANN appears to be entirely catering to registries by removing price caps. Dear Sir or Madam I would like to register a comment on the proposed renewal of .org registry agreement – I completely disagree with your proposal to remove the cap on charges. This change could potentially lock out numerous organisations, individuals and businesses from a having a web presence due to the unaffordability of domain registration. It is vital that the web remains as accessible and open as possible. This change risks limiting the voices heard via the web to those who can afford it. PLEASE do not increase pricing of domains... its senseless as business owner the domains are why I choose NAMECHEAP they are reliable and affordable and allows me as a small business owner to expandwith amazing hosting.
