I am strongly opposed to the proposed pricing changes in the updated agreement. The 10% cap on the price increase should be maintained. The registrar of a tld essentially has a monopoly. A monopoly without price regulation is a recipe for massive consumer harm. Arguing that there is competition between say .org domains and .com domains only makes sense if you’re not seeking a domain for your organization. In that case, only a .org makes sense - now you are captive to a monopoly. Also competition should drive prices _down_ not up. The logic of this proposal makes no sense. Cory Sent from my iPhone.
