I hope ICANN will reconsider the blanket approval being extended to PIR to have no price cap on future increases. Part of the beauty and power of the internet is its availability to a wide range of individuals, whether for business or personal use. Allowing unlimited price increases simply to register a name runs against this aspect of the internet and undermines it as a tool for the masses. While businesses need to raise prices to match inflation and remain in operation, running a name wholesaler is hardly a resource-heavy operation and thus would not require large capital investments. It should therefore be no burden to PIR and their continued success to have a limit on price increases.
