Whilst there may be competition with regards to the pricing of new domain registrations. There are plenty of TLDs to chose from. There is zero competition with regards to renewals. Once you have registered a domain name, you have spent a serious amount of money advertising or publishing that domain name and will feel compelled to pay whatever renewal prices are asked of you. I therefore request that renewal price caps must be maintained for the .org registry, and any others. Timothy Baker
