I have been a .org registrant for the last 19 years. Please do not remove the price cap on .org. Registrars are not going out of business with the current pricing and new registrars are entering the market which indicates that current pricing is working fine. The current 10% price increase cap per year seems to adequately account for inflation. If prices increase dramatically that could put a strain on non-profits and other noncommercial organizations. As the ICANN FAQ states, .org was meant for noncommercial purposes. Increasing prices to commercialize .org seems to defeat the original design. https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/faqs-84-2012-02-25-en#3 ICANN is supposed to operate for the public benefit and I do not believe that removing price caps is in the public benefit. Sincerely, Benjamin Stassart
