To lift the cap on .org domain names is to effectively silence organizations who are mostly volunteer and communicating information for public good. This is unconscionable and un-American. Even grandfathering in existing .org names is no help, because America only functions because there are groups beyond commercial enterprises stepping up to fill in the gaps of helping those without means in all sectors of life. Profit must not be the only valid motive for action for a healthy country.
