Thanks Avri. Encouraging news in my opinion. It still seems important to me that the small group develop a clear statement about our position on this issue. We can decide later whether we need to include it in a letter to the Board, but we definitely need it to articulate our position in general and in the rework of our comments in response to the Issues Paper. I conveyed the council decisions regarding the IDNC WG to Chris Desspain and Janis Karklins this morning. I have received a note from Chris welcoming the representatives. Additionally when I asked him about my being able to participate as an observer, he agreed to this and extended the invitation to include our 2 alternates as 'lurkers' as well.
