As I will be leaving the council this year, I was planning/composing to play a song to express my gratitude to the council and ICANN for my journey within the council. Now, I am intending to change plans and dedicate this song to Pam Little. It would take 5 to 6 minutes to play with a 21 Strings instrument: the Kora. It has been used since the 14th century by the Mandingo griots in West Africa (the Mandingo Empire) who created songs and epics for important occasions: deaths of kings, queens, royal family members, wars, births, etc. This corresponds a little bit to our current situation. If you are ok with this and If US customs allow me to enter the US with this instrument, I would bring and play it for 5 minutes in her memory.
