Dear all, Firstly – I hope everyone is safe and well! Comments from the BC on the draft work plan: · Given the current situation we have to expect that resources may be limited, so be prepared that some deadlines may be missed and some participation may be lower. We should also concentrate on “must have” rather than “would be nice”. · Current circumstances mean: we must have the scoping team for the legal vs natural and data accuracy items that have been removed from the official EPDP process as soon as possible. · On the text: o Policy & Implementation Recommendations Review: don’t see this as a priority. o RPMs: Phase one should finish expeditiously and Phase 2, with the re-chartered group (including the specialist IGOs work stream), should start in due order. This must stay high on the agenda. o Review of the transfer policy: this is important. o IDNs: this has to be taken forward in short order if the essential improvements are to be in place before the next round is launched. There also needs to be a line of communication with the UASG, which at the moment is informal at best. This will speed up the work on both policies. o WPIAG: no strong view. o EPDP Phase 1 Terminology Updates: as this is only about cleaning the terminology, we don’t see this as a priority. o EDDP/ERRP Review: again, we don’t see an urgent need for action here. o Whois Data Reminder Policy: can we tie this to an obligation for accurate data going forward? o Accuracy Scoping Team – for the BC, this is the first priority of all subjects listed, and must be taken forwards as soon as possible. Hi Nathalie,
I would like to note 1) the absence of PPSAI on this project plan, as
well as 2) the timing of resuming IGO work.
Best regards,
