Dear Council Members, Please find the below Motion on our agenda for our December Council meeting. Motion to Approve the Work Plan and Timeline for the GNSO Guidance Process on Applicant Support Working Group Submitted by: Greg DiBiase Seconded by: Sebastien Ducos Whereas, 1. The GNSO Council discussed and agreed that the GNSO Guidance Process (GGP) would serve as an appropriate mechanism to provide additional guidance to support eventual implementation efforts for the New gTLD Subsequent Procedures (SubPro) PDP and that the GGP should be limited to the single topic of Applicant Support, with an allowance to add additional scope to the GGP subject to Council vote. 2. At its meeting on 25 August 2022 the GNSO Council approved<https://community.icann.org/display/gnsocouncilmeetings/Motions+2022-08-25> the Initiation Request<https://gnso.icann.org/sites/default/files/policy/2022/draft/draft-subpro-gg...> for the GGP for Applicant Support Working Group. 3. At its meeting on 20 October 2022 the GNSO Council approved<https://community.icann.org/display/gnsocouncilmeetings/Motions+2022-10-20> Mike Silber as Chair of the GGP for Applicant Support Working Group. 4. The Working Group had its first meeting on 21 November and at its second meeting on 05 December approved a Work Plan and Timeline for consideration by the GNSO Council at its meeting on 15 December 2022. Resolved, 1. The GNSO Council approves the Work Plan and Timeline for the Working Group of the GGP for Applicant Support. 2. The GNSO Council directs staff to communicate the results of this motion to the members of the Working Group.
