It seems like a good idea to test the new procedures out before we start proposing additional options. Ken Bour is working with ICANN's IT team to provide some online tools to facilitate understanding and applying the procedures. Until those tools are available, a link to version 2.0 of the procedures can be found at http://gnso.icann.org/council/docs.html . Chuck

This crib sheet will be very helpful. AFAIK, proxy voting by email ahead of a meeting is not permitted. Perhaps it should be..?

Wendy,
Absentee voting will not be allowed but I believe the new procedures
we approved on 5 August provide a means for the vote to be cast. As stated in our meeting, staff should be distributing a 'cheat sheet' shortly to help Councilors apply the new procedures.

My apologies in advance, I will be unable to join this meeting.
If absentee voting is permitted, I vote for Mike Rodenbaugh's motion supporting commencement of work on WHOIS Study 1.
Thanks, --Wendy
