Please see attached a letter sent to the ICANN Board by the GAC.
The letter expresses concerns on batching and digital archery. It also explains that for reasons of efficiency, consistency and timeliness, the GAC plans to have a single early warning period for all applications. The GAC plans to issue any early warnings it may have shortly after the ICANN AGM in Toronto in October.
The GAC also highlights workload issues in its letter and as such, indicates that it will not be in a position to offer any advice on new gTLD applications this year.
