Thanks, Marika. Good to know. But to Wolf-Ulrich’s point, I’ll keep a closer eye on this going forward (and perhaps just drop signatures whenever I remember). Thanks— J. On 1/4/16, 11:14 , "Marika Konings" <marika.konings@icann.org> wrote:
Best wishes to all!
For the record, the ICANN Bylaws refer to the GNSO Chair, not the GNSO Council Chair.
Best regards,
Marika

Thanks for this, James. And a Happy New Year to all - never toolate!
With respect to your signing I've noticed that in the correspondence external to the GNSO you sign as "GNSO chair". I wonder whether "GNSO council chair" wouldn't be the more correct term.
Best regards

Hi folks:
Most of you probably couldn't care less, but I wanted to put a note on the record regarding my email signature lines.
Many of my past messages to the Council list (like this one) will end with "GoDaddy". This should be read as a label/indicator of my email account, rather than a representation of a position from my company & employer.
Like many of you, I maintain several email accounts (work, personal, football arguments, etc.), and access all of them via my phone and other mobile devices. In order to ensure that I don't post from the wrong email address, I'm likely to use an inappropriate signature line.
I apologize for any confusion this may cause on the list or in the archives, and will make a point to be more mindful of this going forward.
Thanks,
J. ____________ James Bladel GoDaddy
