Particularly #3 worries me because the Nielsen report is a rather superficial survey and not the type of hard data that is used in competition reviews.
Further more, the consumer trust survey by Nielsen leaves with doubts about the difference between Registrants and “final” users.
I take this comment back. I have not read the registrants survey, which is already out, yet :(
As I mentioned in another comment to heather, I hope tomorrow we will have time for those substantive questions to ICANN, as the endorsement (or not) for candidates can wait until Dec 14.

to my knowledge this is still very much a black box, i.e. we do not know the number of slots or criteria for the choice. We assume our recommendations might carry some weight, but that may not be the case.
