Dear all, The ISPCP does not support the GNSO signing onto the ALAC Petition as a supporting Decisional Participant. We support ALAC’s view that the Board’s postponement of ATRT4 without a readily defined alternative leaves ICANN Bylaws in limbo for what they relate to specific reviews, and is for that matter unacceptable However, we also consider that the Board’s Rationale for Resolutions 2025.05.19.01 – 2025.05.19.06 in its deferral of ATRT4 remains founded, notably for what relates to community resources, and that withdrawing that decision would only take the Community backward instead of addressing the issue. Withdrawing the deferral would only reinstate the situation that existed before the Pilot Holistic Review without taking into consideration its recognition of the need to review the ICANN structures as a whole Rather than reconsidering the deferral, we would support a time-limited bylaws amendment to initiate a ‘Review of reviews’ to address the issues that were identified in the Board’s resolution, and in particular those stemming from the Pilot Holistic Review’s findings and the need for changes to ICANN's structures. Best regards, Osvaldo
