On 19 August 2025, the GNSO Council sent a summary<https://gnso.icann.org/sites/default/files/policy/2025/correspondence/amadoz...> of the Council’s discussions during the Strategic Planning Session to the Board; 3. On 27 October 2025, the GNSO Council met<https://icann84.sched.com/event/29QIH/joint-session-icann-board-and-gnso-cou...> with the ICANN Board and proposed the proposed un-adoption process be contained within the Policy Development Process (PDP) Manual and GNSO Guidance Process (GGP) Manual; 4. On 27 October 2025, the ICANN Board noted<https://icann84.sched.com/event/29QIH/joint-session-icann-board-and-gnso-cou...> that the proposed placement of the un-adoption process in the PDP Manual and GGP Manual was appropriate and thanked the GNSO Council for making progress on this topic; 5. On 20 November 2025, the GNSO Council published<https://www.icann.org/en/public-comment/proceeding/proposed-gnso-process-for...> the proposed process for the Board to un-adopt a GNSO policy recommendation as redlines to the PDP Manual and GGP Manual for public comment; 6.
