Topics that are more of an “update” can be scheduled as webinars during ICANN68 Prep Week. * The two topics for plenary sessions that drew the highest support (based on the latest survey) were DNS abuse and the Internet of Things (IoT). After some discussion, there was support for a 90-minute plenary session on DNS abuse that will also cover the topic of challenges posed by COVID-19. It was not clear if IoT as the second topic will also need a 90-minute session. * A third possible community session of interest is a 90-minute discussion between the community, ICANN org and the Board, about how to manage the community’s work in view of COVID-19 and the use of virtual meetings. * Tanzanica King will prepare a preliminary meeting schedule based on the groups’ session requests and these understandings. Other Action Items: * A separate call will be scheduled for the community planning group, outside of preparation for ICANN68, to begin discussions with ICANN org senior staff about a possible strategy for planning and specifying requirements for virtual meetings.
