Information Sharing NEW: Implementation Operations team interactive update on the ‘Enhancing ICANN’s Multistakeholder Model (MSM)’ Project In 2019, the ICANN Board initiated a project aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of ICANN's multistakeholder model – one of the strategic objectives outlined in ICANN's Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years (FY) 2021-2025. This effort is critical to ensuring that the multistakeholder model is able to evolve and meet the ever-changing needs of ICANN's global community. The Implementation Operations team is offering an up to 30 min interactive update on this project, more specifically on the evaluation methodology, which is used to assess the current projects/initiatives that are supporting the MSM. Closely paired with that effort is Work Track 4, Systems and Tools. It includes the proposal, design, and implementation of secure, private, and efficient systems for future gTLD application rounds. ICANN org will soon be asking chairs to initiate your respective group's processes to appoint members and liaisons to these seats. While members are required, liaison appointments are optional (albeit strongly encouraged). To ensure that the appointment process is completed in time for the start of the next CSC term, ICANN org will ask to be notified of your appointments by Monday, 1 August 2022.
