Dear Avri, Thank you for sharing the discussion table for ICANN 83. I do really like the topic: “Does ICANN listen or care about end users?” — I believe this could serve well as the overall theme of the discussion. It gets to the core question of why we are here and the real impact on end users. For the empty squares, I suggest adding: - The evolving multi-stakeholder model of Internet Governance: addressing changes in power dynamics and inclusivity (as signalled by our community members in Seattle, this is (in)directly related also to end user particiipation in next round); more on this will likely come during our Regulatory Updates briefing with the GAC later today; - DNS abuse mitigation: effective policy tools and supporting contractual compliance obligations beyond contracted parties - Strengthening cross-community collaboration to improve outcomes in PDPs and policy implementation Regarding narrowing down existing topics, it may be useful to focus on specific challenges, such as barriers to meaningful user participation in PDPs, volunteer support or recent governance developments in RIR oversight. I do not see any topics that should be removed. Looking forward to the poll and an engaging discussion in Prague. I'd remove the blanks, run with this lot, and perhaps, if you want to, take a wildcard from the floor, if there is one

Hi,
At the last meeting, we spoke about taking 15 minutes, at least, to discuss a hot topic of the meeting's choosing, at the ICANN 83 Policy meeting.
The idea was to present a table with ideas at the start of the meeting, take a poll, and see what we ended up discussing.
The table can be found in https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1iGNs5X0LVb6im_4wVcD_f510AOtPxCG6kAgX...
As you will see there are a few empty squares.
Discussion poll for ICAN83
- any ideas for the empty square?
- any ideas for narrowing down any of the ones there.
- any of the topics a bad idea and should be removed?
At the start of the meeting in Prague I will ask for a poll to be taken and we will try to discuss the idea most want to discuss. Will also look at the the poll results as suggestions for future discussions in the CPWG.
Thanks
avri
