Bart, All I’ve reviewed and made some changes. Nothing that I would consider substantive from your versions, but I have done some moving around. The upshot being that it all looks extremely messy and difficult to work through. For our call on Monday, it would be great if folks could take a look at the compare charter document that is a comparison of the current charter and proposed amended charter, to see if anything leaps out as odd or unacceptable. I had a brief skype chat with Sam Eisner about potential inconsistencies between the amended Charter and the Bylaws, and I think it would make sense that we have ICANN’s Legal Team undertake a review of the Amended Charter to ensure that there are no consistencies, and also to ensure that we are using the correct terminology, ie. PTI or IFO. This could be done at the same time as the public comment period. I’d welcome feedback from others about whether this seems sensible. I think our aim is to publish this for comment around 3 April, maybe 6 April, to account for some take time off over Easter. Look forward to talking to you all on Monday. We may experience some challenges because we won’t have adobe connect so it would be great if you could have these documents handy for the call. Thanks Donna From: CSC-Review [mailto:csc-review-bounces@icann.org] On Behalf Of Bart Boswinkel Sent: Wednesday, March 21, 2018 9:33 AM To: CSC-review@icann.org Subject: [EXTERNAL] [CSC-Review] Updated report Dear all, Please find included the updated version of the Initial report (06 redline and clean). I started with the latest version Elaine send to the list. As discussed: · Checked and included references to ICANN Bylaws. · Added subsection numbering · Included references in amended charter text + slight adjustments Finally version 7 does NOT include the table anymore. Suggest once the RT reaches agreement on changes to the charter to include a compare/redline of the proposed charter with current charter (Annex A). Kind regards, Bart
