I am bemused (polite words) that the RDS review is going ahead, given that there are over 120 people on the RDS WG now, meeting every week for 90 minutes (to say nothing of the time the RDS leadership team puts in). At the least, this other review should have a REALLY narrow focus, - and I hope there is the realisation that many of the people who should be participating may not have the bandwidth to do both. Note the following in the redline version of the Bylaws Section 4.6, Specific Reviews:

“The Directory Service Review shall be conducted no less frequently than every five years, measured from the date the previous Directory Service Review Team was convened., except that the first Directory Service Review to be conducted after [1 October 2016] shall be deemed to be timely if the applicable SSR Review Team is convened on or before 31 October 2016.64”

I am assuming that it should say ‘Directory Service Review Team’ instead of ‘SSR Review Team’. Probably just a copy and paste error.
