Dear Dusan, The code points short-listed for the LGR proposal for Cyrillic must be a subset of code points of the MSR available (currently MSR2). However, if Cyrillic Generation Panel thinks that there are code points excluded from MSR, which should be part of the LGR proposal, they need to submit comments against the next revision of MSR which provides concrete reasons why the extra code point(s) need to be added and Integration Panel will consider this with the next revision of MSR (as MSR2 comment period is now closed, the soonest this can be done is for MSR3). However, until the additional code point(s) are included in MSR, they cannot be made part of the LGR proposal. So the sub-set relationship IDNA2008>MSR>LGR must be maintained. In the current proposal, it is up to the Cyrillic GP to keep just the MSR in scope (for LGR) or to consider the IDN2008 based subset of Cyrillic table in Unicode (to review both MSR and LGR requirements). However, it will be useful to make the scope and the reasons for the scope clear in the proposal. Please let me know if you have any additional queries. At the "Proposal..." we have> 117. The Cyrillic Generation Panel have aim - forming recommendations for MSR and LGR. And Mirjana told us that "I am sure that we cannot include in our proposal the script that is not included in MSR." Sarmad, thank You in advance. Also, regarding Table 3, I would like to suggest discussion on the next meeting about this question - will we erase Table 3 or not. I don't see a confusion as Mirjana, and I don't see there bad practice, but I must agree with Mirjana about 1. reason - "We did not discuss table 3 thoroughly, so it might be incomplete." On the other hand, this cannot be the reason to ommit Table 3 from doc. We all agree that this is not complete Table, as far as I can see. For me, this can only be the reason to discuss the content of Table 3, but I will not go there. I will stop with my suggestion: let us discuss will we erase Table 3 or not. I will be more than happy that we talk about this on the meeting and make a clear decision together. About the meeting - is it on Thurday, 12:00 UTC? There are few reasons why table 3 should be ommited: 1. We did not discuss table 3 thoroughly, so it might be incoplete. 2. It is not good practice mixing in the same documents the tasks that the panel has to fulfill, and some tables that might be the results of panel work. 3. My opinion is that this table will create confusion if we include it in the very first document. Also I have mentioned in one of my earlier mails that " new version of MSR ( Maximal Starting Repertoire) is published for public comment at https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/msr-overview-04dec14-en.pdf The first few lines of our document are the statements what scripts are the subject of our GP. Looking at MSR -2 , Page 11 the script Cyrs 221 Cyrillic (Old Church Slavonic variant) is not included in MSR because it is not recommanded for use as an identifier in UAX#31 " I am sure that we cannot incude in our proposal the script that is not included in MSR. I haven't heard any discussion in support or objections to this proposal. Does anybody else think it should stay in there?
