I suggest we have short nomination period (unix January 10th at least, taking into account holidays in our countries) and then a vote (procedure: electronic; Yuri can choose.) So around 15th or 20th we would have a chair. I also suggest we choose two candidates at least. Ideally, a vice-chair can be elected but that requires at least three candidacies IMHO. So you can fully rely on the daily support of ICANN Staff: Alexandra Kulikova, Sarmad Hussein, and myself.
