Dear all, I would like to share the latest good news from EURid with you: "EU citizens will be able to register a .eu domain name no matter where they reside. The new rules will expand the eligibility criteria surrounding the .eu TLD, as EU citizens will be able to register a .eu domain name regardless of where they reside. Currently, any person resident or business established in the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway can register a .eu domain name." See more: https://eurid.eu/en/news/doteu-tld-new-regulation/. This new citizenship rule would become effective somewhere around the end of next year. As a logical consequence this would mean for UK citizens: in case of a soft Brexit, with a transition period till 1/1/2021, European citizens living in GB would be able to keep their .eu. With a hard Brexit however, they would disqualify on 28 March to requalify somewhere later in 2019 Best Sandra
