Adam, no explanation for this. There is nothing special in the German language for .vu (as it is for .tk in Danish which means registered company). Vu is neither a word in itself nor are there many german words which end with .vu. Probably there is something special behind it (to make a difference, exotic etc.). Would be interested to find this out.
