Hi all Congratulations to Joanna and Bastiaan, and many thanks to Wale and Matthias for having shown interest in getting more engaged. May I remind that there are many ways to contribute to EURALO, and taking an office is not necessarily the most important one. The ground work is done in working groups and other committees, that’s where the members build the contributions that make ALAC an important part of the ICANN ecosystem. Without everyday’s work of the volunteers in these groups the ALAC representatives would not have anything to report and the ALAC NomCom representatives would not be taken seriously. So I would expect that the interest shown by all candidates, including those who have chosen for whatever reason not to accept the nomination, translates in more activity in the working groups.
