As I am right now in the midst of three hours of ICANN related calls and have more later this week, can I ask would it make sense to discuss this agenda https://st.icann.org/euralo/index.cgi?15_december_2009 with just four people, rather than wait until we can get all hands on deck? Sorry for my delayed reply. I can confirm that I *will* be able to make it.

Hi,
for the moment, there are only Bill, Sébastien and me who confirmed for tomorrow's call; Adam and Dessi apologised already.
IMO, it makes no sense to have a call just for three people (having a dinner together would be better ;-). If there are no confirmations any more (let's say 5 - 7 at least) until tonight, I suggest that Matthias sends a Doodle poll for finding an appropriate day and time in the 2nd week of January.
Thanks and regards, Wolf

Hi, I doubt I'll be able to make the call. I'm in the US at the moment, get back to Tokyo sometime on Monday an a call at 2am the next day would probably kill me! But who knows, jet lag's a mean thing!
Dessi, thanks for the minutes.
Best,
Adam

Dear all,
thanks a lot, Dessi, for writing and uploading the minutes from the last teleconf.!
Indeed, very helpful notes for those of us who alas missed it, thanks.
I agree with those who suggested that the role of individual users should be addressed, this issue has been lingering unresolved since we started, and is relevant to the discussion about how to elect the ALAC board member.*
I also want to support Dessi's remarks having our next monthly call at the date of next Tuesday 15 December 09, as suggested by the Staff -- IF there will be enough participants.
Just in case, I would like to suggest to postpone the call by 1 hour to 18:00 CET because I will be in a meeting in Berne and cannot return before 18:00 CET.
I can participate, although 17:00 CET would have been easier.
*BTW I'm wondering if someone can inform me about something Evan said on the ALAC list regarding the election:

(*) - Actually, every region except NARALO has expressed this preference.
When did we express this preference, can someone point me to a text, URL, whatever? I don't recall the discussion and decision, may have missed a meeting/memo...
Thanks,
Bill
