i would be an enthusiastic participant in an informal face-to-face meeting in Singapore. Ana and i had good luck with informal notices (often at short notice) on the mailing list of participants in a different group we were in — maybe we could use the same model? i bet many of us have pretty packed official-dinner events in the evenings, but can often convene afterwards for something less formal. Thanks, Mikey, for getting this out so quickly. Thanks to everyone for today's call too. I know our respective calendars in Singapore are already pretty full, but I'm wondering whether we might want to try for a lunch or drinks together at some point during the week. Someone may have already proposed this (Ana?) but I can't find the email thread as to whether this might be possible, so I thought I'd resurface it to get everyone's thoughts. hi all,
here are those notes that i was taking during our call. they’re included as text in this email, and i’ve also attached a copy of the “mind map” file that i was creating. if you would like to open the file in that mind-map format, you can use this free, open source program Freemind to do that. here’s a link to the Freemind download page — it works on Mac, PC and Linux machines
